A very common Mbuna. And this is very understandeble when you look at the lovely coloration of tha males and females. They prefer the rockbiotope in the wild. They become 14 cm for the male and 11 for the female. Though i had an old male of the species that was 18 cm. Their broodsize is about 35. They come in alot of different varities. Red/Red and Blue/Red are among the most known. The Red/Red has orange almost white males and orange females. They Blue/Red has blue males and orange females. They also come in OB and Marmelade variants.
