If there ever was a classic among the mbuna's this is it. Lots of people who have kept mbunas has crossed paths with this lovely fish. Its one of the smaller mbunas, males reach about 8 cm and females 6. Its an incredible calm fish (except when 2 males of the species meet). Its from the rockbiotope and their broodsize is about 30.
